Evening Primrose is a large delicate wild flower which grows up to eight feet tall and can be found along streams and roads in North America from the Rocky Mountains to the Atlantic seaboard. The plant yields an oil, rich in healing and nutritional properties.

Early use of Evening Primrose Oil included parts of the whole plant used externally to heal wounds, soothe skin inflammation and internally to control coughs and infections.
